Suggest data for publication as a Featured MISR Image or Quiz

MISR data users: Would you like to see specific MISR data published as a Featured Image or a "Where on Earth...?" MISR Mystery Image Quiz?

Use this suggest-an-image form to submit your candidate. Include a short caption, or several ideas for quiz questions, in addition to your name and contact information. Authors will be acknowledged on the MISR website.

Selection criteria for image features and quizzes

Featured MISR Images highlight applications of MISR and multiangle imaging, and can make use of standard MISR products or highlight an application of standard products plus other value-added work. Preference is given to candidates utilizing the unique aspects of multiangular data, or which cover a newsworthy topic.

Quiz images are selected for their geographic and scientific merit, or even for their sheer beauty or mystery, from diverse parts of the globe, and from any time of MISR data acquisition. Quiz questions can cover any topic, but preference is given to questions with direct relationship to processes indicated by the image. Questions should not be structured so that the answers are unclear or ephemeral. Answers must be retrievable from more than one authoritative source by a quiz participant with access to only (1) an atlas, and (2) the freely available, non-subscription, resources of the world-wide-web.
